When we first got the keys for our property in the Limousin the most obvious indication that it had been unwanted and unloved for a number of years was the state of the garden. Overgrown and neglected, each time we visited the house we would be hacking back a jungle of weeds and ivy only to find that on our next holiday they were back in full force and we were back to square one.
